Nail Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team! Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic, Gel X, and nail extension applications with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to help clients select the perfect shades and designs that complement their style and skin tone
• Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or nail care routines to promote healthy nails
• Follow salon safety protocols by maintaining strict sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, workstations, and equipment
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience
• Upsell retail products like nail care items or related beauty treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay updated on industry trends such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or laser treatments to offer comprehensive beauty solutions when appropriate

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and salon safety protocols essential for delivering high-quality services
• Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
• Experience in retail sales or upselling techniques is a plus for maximizing client satisfaction and salon success

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
