Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel polish, acrylic nail application, and nail extension services with precision and care
• Apply color theory principles to create customized nail art designs that match clients’ preferences
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and product usage to promote healthy nails
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, or skincare items to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Keep current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of nail care fundamentals including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
• Skilled in various techniques such as gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and nail art design
• Familiarity with color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to each client
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients and understand their preferences
• Ability to perform multiple services efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Certification in cosmetology or related field is preferred; ongoing education in advanced techniques is a plus
