Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
• Execute advanced nail techniques such as nail extensions, gel application, and acrylic nail application to meet client preferences
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper disinfection of tools and workstations
• Provide excellent client communication by understanding their needs, offering professional advice on nail care and maintenance, and upselling retail products when appropriate
• Ensure a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and hygiene at all times
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry best practices to continually elevate service quality

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of nail care fundamentals including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
• Skilled in applying gel manicures, acrylic nails, nail extensions, and performing pedicures with attention to detail
• Familiarity with color theory for creating custom designs and coordinating shades effectively
• Excellent communication skills to engage clients professionally and build lasting relationships
• Ability to perform esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or body waxing is a plus but not required
• Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Technology from an accredited program is preferred
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products like nail care items or hair extensions when appropriate

Pay: $25.99 - $40.00 per hour
