Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and artistry
• Maintain salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience
• Educate clients on nail products and options to enhance their experience
• Assist with promoting nail care products, skincare items, and other beauty essentials to meet client needs
• Follow all salon safety guidelines to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff at all times

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a focus on nail services
• Knowledge of color and nail art techniques, and current trends in nail design
• Skilled in applying various types of nail enhancements such as acrylics, gel nails, and nail extensions
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
• Experience in retail sales and upselling beauty products is preferred
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional training in laser treatments or hair removal is a plus
