Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic extensions, and nail art using color theory principles to match client preferences.
• Apply and shape nail extensions with precision, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools to ensure client safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide personalized nail care advice.
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, or skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Keep workstations clean and organized while following all health regulations related to sanitation and disinfection.
• Assist clients with additional services such as body waxing or eyelash extensions when qualified or refer them to specialists within the salon.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs.
• Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel nails, and nail extensions.
• Experience performing pedicures, manicures, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and confidently.
• Deep understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively through excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, or body waxing is advantageous but not required.
