Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable nail polish shades and designs that complement each client's style
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide consultations, and offer personalized nail care advice
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty treatments to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings
• Ensure a clean, organized workspace that meets all health standards while delivering a welcoming environment for clients

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication skills
• Ability to perform detailed work with excellent attention to hygiene and safety standards
• Knowledge of color theory, retail math for upselling products, and current trends in nail art and body waxing is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service
