A spa dedicated to whole‑person wellness, uplifting service, and exceptional guest care. Sage Day Spa is committed to supporting wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. We’re looking for a skilled Nail Technician or Cosmetologist to provide beautiful, high‑quality pedicure services in our Pedicure‑focused Foot Spa. (We currently offer pedicures only, though are looking into offering manicure services as well.) The right candidate brings professionalism, consistency, and a genuine desire to help guests feel cared for.

Role Responsibilities

• Pedicure Services — Perform a full range of pedicure treatments with attention to detail and artistry
• Sanitation Standards — Maintain strict hygiene practices that meet or exceed Idaho state board regulations
• Client Education — Teach guests proper nail care and recommend helpful home‑care products
• Service Promotion — Recommend additional spa services and retail items to enhance the guest experience
• Trend Awareness — Stay updated on new tools, techniques, and pedicure trends
• Guest Communication — Communicate clearly to understand client preferences and maintain accurate service notes
• Transaction Accuracy — Process service and retail sales with precision

Compensation

• Sage Day Spa offers a 37%–40% starting commission, based on experience and involvement.
• Not required to remain on‑site when not in service (though being available during scheduled shifts increases booking opportunities)
• No non‑compete clauses in the employment contract
• Additional Pay - Tips paid bi‑monthly with your paycheck, and 10% commission on retail product sales

Skills & Qualifications

• Positive Communication — Respectful, uplifting interactions with clients, co-workers, and leadership
• Customer Service — Strong ability to build rapport and create memorable guest experiences
• Sanitation Expertise — Excellent understanding of safety and hygiene standards
• Cosmetology Training — Background in cosmetology or nail care (Cosmetologists welcome; several service add‑ons include scalp treatments and scalp/neck/shoulder massage. You may also perform esthetic and full‑body services offered at the spa.)
• Upselling Skills — Ability to recommend services and products while maintaining a supportive, guest‑centered approach
