Nail Technician

Job Summary

Commission pay, we provide the space, tools and supplies - We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nail Technician to join our brand new, vibrant beauty team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail extensions, while providing a memorable experience for every client. Your expertise in color theory, nail art, and sanitation will ensure that clients leave feeling confident and pampered. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and nail care treatments.
• Apply advanced techniques including nail art using color theory principles and nail extensions to enhance client aesthetics.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable services, and provide personalized care.
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails.
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, or skincare items to enhance client experience and salon revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of nail work.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols.
• Skilled in acrylic nail application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and other advanced nail techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
• Familiarity with retail sales strategies including retail math and upselling techniques.
• Certification or licensing in Cosmetology or Nail Technology as required by local and state regulations.

Pay: $7.25 - $99.99 per hour
