About the Role:

Independent Podiatry Clinic in Sioux Falls, SD is looking for a skilled Nail Tech who is looking to expand their experience to the medical field. This is your opportunity to bring your nail tech skills to a professional, patient-focused clinic where you will learn a variety of clinical foot and ankle care while assisting our Physician and MA's.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional nail care services under direct supervison of our Podiatrist
• Assess nail and skin conditions and recommend appropriate interventions
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations
• Build and maintain strong patient relationships to encourage patient retention and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with Physician and Medical Assistants to provide excellent foot and ankle care services
• Assist the Physician with various aspects of patient care as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Nail Technician preferred
• Proficiency in using professional pedicure tools such as dremel, nippers, and files preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to stay on a predetermined time-schedule
• Open to learning new tasks and information
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor
• Desire to learn clinical skills of a MA or CNA in a hands-on environment
• Ability to pivot from one task to another quickly while remaining calm
• Desire to ask questions to understand all aspects of training
