Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Apply color theory principles to create customized designs that match clients’ styles and occasions
• Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail care, styling techniques, and beauty products
• Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories using retail math skills to meet sales goals

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail care or related beauty specialties
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
• Experience with various nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, and nail art design
• Familiarity with color theory for creating appealing nail designs
• Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations
• Ability to perform multiple services efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of additional beauty treatments such as hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
