Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable nail treatments, and educate them on proper nail care routines
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to offer innovative services that excite clients
• Assist with retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and related beauty accessories through effective upselling strategies
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the workspace to promote a professional and inviting atmosphere
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless client experience and foster a positive salon environment

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Demonstrated expertise in nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, and intricate designs
• Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail art that complements client styles
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with health regulations
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, or laser treatments is a plus but not required
• Proven ability to upsell retail products effectively while delivering outstanding customer service
