Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and care.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable nail polish shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following disinfection procedures and salon safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes, offer professional advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and new product offerings to enhance service quality.
• Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories using retail math skills to meet sales goals.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat visits and positive reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices.
• Strong understanding of color theory, nail art design principles, and current industry trends such as eyelash extensions or body waxing.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations.
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
