Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and creativity
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
• Conduct sanitation procedures following salon safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer expert advice, and ensure a satisfying experience
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current nail trends, techniques such as dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings for upselling opportunities
• Manage retail sales by recommending nail care products and accessories that meet client needs while enhancing revenue
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of workstations, sterilizing tools, and adhering to disinfection procedures throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or nail technician license required
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell retail products confidently
• Knowledge of color theory, nail art design, and current trends such as eyelash extensions or body waxing is a plus
• Effective communication skills to engage clients professionally and build lasting relationships
