Position: Professional Nail Technician
Department: Beauty Salon
Reports to: Salon Manager

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality nail care and enhancement services while maintaining excellent hygiene standards, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring a premium salon experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Nail Care and Services

• Perform professional manicures and pedicures.
• Provide gel polish, Gelish, shellac, and regular nail polish applications.
• Perform nail extensions, including soft gel, hard gel, acrylic, and other techniques within the technician’s expertise.
• Provide nail infills, refills, overlays, repairs, and safe product removal.
• Perform nail shaping, cuticle care, buffing, and natural nail treatments.
• Create nail art, French manicures, ombré designs, and customized nail designs.
• Assess clients’ nail conditions and recommend appropriate services.
• Maintain consistent quality, precision, and attention to detail.

2. Client Service

• Welcome clients professionally and conduct consultations before each service.
• Understand clients’ preferences and recommend suitable nail shapes, colors, and treatments.
• Ensure client comfort and satisfaction throughout the appointment.
• Build client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and loyalty.
• Recommend suitable nail care products and additional services where appropriate.

3. Hygiene and Sanitation

• Sterilize and disinfect tools according to salon procedures and applicable health regulations.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, manicure tables, pedicure stations, and equipment after every client.
• Use clean towels, disposable materials, and appropriate protective equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for handling nail products, chemicals, and waste.
• Maintain strict personal hygiene and comply with all salon health and safety requirements.

4. Salon Operations

• Keep the nail station clean, organized, and fully prepared for appointments.
• Monitor nail products and supplies and report low stock to the salon manager.
• Follow appointment schedules and deliver services within the expected time without compromising quality.
• Maintain and care for nail equipment and tools.
• Support salon promotions, seasonal offers, and marketing activities when required.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth salon operations.

5. Sales and Performance

• Contribute to individual and salon revenue targets.
• Promote nail packages, add-on treatments, and retail nail care products.
• Encourage repeat bookings and maintain a loyal client base.
• Follow approved salon prices, service procedures, and payment policies.
• Maintain high service standards and minimize complaints or service corrections.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a professional nail technician.
• Strong practical skills in manicures, pedicures, gel polish, and nail enhancements.
• Experience with soft gel, hard gel, acrylic, or other professional extension systems is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of nail anatomy, product application, nail hygiene, and safe removal techniques.
• Ability to perform nail art and customized designs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining service quality.
• Relevant professional certification is preferred.
• A portfolio of previous nail work is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work according to assigned salon shifts and schedules.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak business periods as required.
• Comply with salon policies, procedures, and management instructions.

Pay: AED1,900.00 - AED5,800.00 per month
