Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures with precision and care
• Apply and customize nail designs using color theory principles to match client preferences and current trends
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and ensure a satisfying experience
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay updated on the latest techniques in esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling, and other beauty services to broaden your skill set
• Follow all salon safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions
• Knowledge of color theory for creative nail art design and client consultations
• Certification in cosmetology or related field preferred; relevant licenses required where applicable
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
• Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling and retail math to maximize client satisfaction and sales opportunities
