Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures in accordance with salon standards.
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions and acrylic application to create customized looks for each client.
• Utilize color theory knowledge to recommend suitable shades and designs that match client preferences.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies while following all sanitation guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, gel manicures, and esthetic treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy to offer innovative services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
• Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Additional skills such as hair styling, eyelash extensions, body waxing, or hair threading are a plus but not required.
