Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic and nail extension techniques.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and industry best practices.
• Ensure a clean, organized workspace that complies with all health regulations and promotes a safe environment for clients and staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions.
• Solid understanding of color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to each client.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and overall hygiene standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of additional beauty services such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions or hair threading is a plus.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly, professional attitude.

Pay: $25.38 - $30.57 per hour
