Responsibilities

• Assist senior nail technicians with preparing workstations and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
• Learn and support various nail care services including basic manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, and nail art techniques.
• Engage with clients to understand their preferences, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a positive salon experience.
• Support the team in managing appointment schedules using salon software such as Millennium or similar platforms.
• Participate in product demos and retail sales to promote nail care products and enhance client satisfaction.
• Observe and practice proper hygiene protocols during all treatments to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Develop skills in client communication, consultation, and upselling additional services like hand treatments or skincare add-ons.

Experience

• Enthusiasm for learning about esthetic treatments, nail care, and beauty industry trends.
• Basic understanding of sanitation standards within a salon or spa environment.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Experience working with clients or in customer service roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of management software such as Millennium or salon booking systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media management can help support promotional efforts for the salon’s services.
• Previous exposure to cosmetology or esthetic treatments like chemical peels, dermabrasion, or body waxing is advantageous but not mandatory.
