The Nanny Bunch is seeking a warm, dependable, and engaging nanny for a wonderful family in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans! This is a great opportunity for a nanny who loves working with toddlers, enjoys creating fun and enriching days, and is looking for a consistent, long-term position.

The family has two sweet 2-year-old girls who love outdoor adventures, music, dancing, hands-on activities, and learning through play. Mom works from home in a separate office, and the family is hoping to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their routine.

Position Details

• Location: Lakeview, New Orleans, LA 70124
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: $25/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Hours: 25 guaranteed hours per week
• Commitment: Seeking a nanny interested in a long-term commitment of at least one year

Responsibilities

• Pick up the girls from school around noon
• Prepare lunches and snacks for the children
• Support nap time and maintain a consistent afternoon routine
• Plan engaging, screen-free activities appropriate for toddlers
• Encourage outdoor play, music, creativity, and exploration
• Handle child-related meal preparation and cleanup
• Assist with child-related tidying and light household tasks during nap time, such as washing dishes and tidying shared spaces
• Occasionally assist with additional hours or errands when available and agreed upon

Ideal Candidate

• Has experience caring for toddlers or multiple young children
• Is warm, patient, reliable, and proactive
• Enjoys planning creative, developmentally appropriate activities
• Is comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely
• Communicates well and values a collaborative relationship with parents
• Is interested in building a lasting relationship with a family
• Is comfortable with school pickup and transporting children. Driving is preferred but not required, and car seats are provided.
