What You’ll Be Doing

We're looking for an exceptional people leader to take ownership of a national field sales team across New Zealand. Reporting into the Selleys Country Manager, you'll be responsible for developing capability, lifting performance and creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. This role leads a team of 8 field representatives located throughout New Zealand and requires regular travel to coach, support and develop the team in-market.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs and coaching sessions
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Key Account teams to execute business priorities
  • Lead sales meetings, cycle planning and team development initiatives
  • Champion CRM discipline, reporting and execution excellence

Our Benefits

  • Opportunities to work flexibly at all stages of your career
  • Enjoy comprehensive, holistic health and well-being support, including our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
  • Let us support you with Life, total permanent disability and Health Insurance (medical and surgical cover)
  • Give back to the communities in which we live and work, with our “Community Action Day” and other programs
  • Market leading Learning and Development initiatives and genuine career pathways to accelerate your growth
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) topped up to your normal pay and 2 weeks paid partner leave available from 6 months onwards
  • We will match up to 4% of your salary to Kiwisaver
  • Feel truly valued through our employee recognition programs
  • Enjoy generous discounts on DuluxGroup products and through our corporate partnerships

What We’re Looking for

You've built a reputation as a leader who gets the best out of people. You know how to challenge, support and inspire teams to achieve more, while holding clear expectations and creating an environment where people thrive. Whether your background is FMCG, retail, trade or another customer-facing industry, we're interested in your leadership impact above all else.

  • Proven experience leading and developing sales or field-based teams
  • Strong coaching capability with a track record of lifting performance
  • Experience managing performance and having courageous conversations
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
