National Security Manager

About the role

This is a Permanent opportunity for a National Security Manager to join the team at Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd' in the Changi South. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's warehouse and distribution facilities, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.

What you'll be doing

• Security Governance & Awareness – Support security governance, staff security awareness, training programmes, and AWS security project implementation across logistics operations.
• Cargo Security Compliance – Ensure compliance with KCR, TAPA FSR "A", STP-Plus, and Trade First Premium requirements, including conducting gap assessments and driving corrective actions.
• Risk Assessment & Loss Prevention – Conduct TVRA and Intellectual Property Risk Management (IPRM) activities to identify supply chain vulnerabilities, investigate cargo losses and security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement loss prevention measures.
• Incident Management & Reporting – Manage security incident investigations, maintain loss and incident registers, prepare investigation reports, and monitor corrective actions and security KPIs.
• Business Continuity & Supply Chain Risk – Identify security-related supply chain risks, maintain business continuity and risk registers, conduct tabletop exercises, and support recovery planning for operational disruptions.
• Physical Security Technology – Manage and evaluate CCTV, access control, perimeter protection systems, alarms, VMS/PSIM platforms, and other security technologies, including system upgrades, monitoring, and technology improvement roadmaps.
• Security Audits & Compliance Assurance – Plan and conduct security audits and inspections across warehouses, freight, and transportation operations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Security Vendor Management – Manage outsourced security service providers, including performance reviews, contract compliance, SLA monitoring, and continuous service improvement.
• Red Teaming & Security Testing – Conduct unannounced security spot checks and red-team exercises to validate security controls, officer performance, and operational readiness.
• Data Analytics & Management Reporting – Develop and maintain Excel dashboards and management reports covering security compliance, incidents, risks, training, technology implementation, and performance trends.
• Stakeholder & Customer Engagement – Collaborate with Operations, IT, HR, Procurement, Fleet, vendors, and customer security teams to align security requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Continuous Security Improvement – Identify security gaps, develop mitigation plans, and lead initiatives to strengthen physical security, cargo protection, operational resilience, and overall supply chain security.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate security, supply chain security, law enforcement, military, homeland security, or logistics security management.
• Experience dealing with customer security requirements and audits, particularly in high-value cargo environments.
• Experience in a 3PL environment is highly preferred.
