Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Naval Architect to support the design, analysis, and development of ships, marine vessels, and offshore structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop ship and marine vessel designs based on project requirements.

• Perform stability, hydrostatic, and structural calculations.

• Develop technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation.

• Assist in hull form development and vessel structural design.

• Review and modify designs based on engineering requirements and client specifications.

• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering teams.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable marine standards, class rules, and safety requirements.

• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation.

• Support project teams during design reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in naval architecture or marine engineering.

• Knowledge of ship design, marine structures, stability, and hydrostatics.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant marine design software.

• Knowledge of software such as Maxsurf, NAPA, Rhino, or similar tools will be an added advantage.

• Good understanding of shipbuilding practices and applicable marine standards.

• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
