NC-PRE-K TEACHER

AA Childcare is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic NC Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Position Overview

The NC Pre-K Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, maintaining a structured classroom environment, and supporting the growth and success of all students in the NC Pre-K program.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with NC Pre-K standards
• Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with NC childcare licensing and NC Pre-K requirements
• Work collaboratively with administrators and support staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• NC Birth-Kindergarten (B-K) License preferred or willingness to obtain required credentials
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for early childhood education
