Classification: Maximum Term Part Time – 0.4 FTE until 30 June 2027

About Ermha365

At ermha365, we are part of the Meridia Group and we work with clients with some of the most complex mental health and disability support needs in Victoria. We’re a lifeline for people who often feel like a “square peg in a round hole” - those who experience stigma and discrimination, and are ostracised or excluded from the simple things that most of us take for granted. In many cases we have become the provider of last resort, although we see ourselves as the provider of first choice. We believe in the potential of everyone. We never give up, and we never give in.

About The Role

Reporting to the Practice Leader, the NDIS Educator & Access Facilitator will work closely with Forensicare stakeholders and strategic partners to identify the educational and support needs of staff relating to NDIS. This role requires a collaborative and proactive approach to ensuring adequate training is provided to ensure business continuity and stakeholder engagement. This is a hybrid role and the successful incumbent will be based out of the Thomas Embling Hospital in Fairfield and will be required to be across other Forensicare Sites as appropriate.

This role entails the following but not limited to:

  • Design and deliver education, training and capability building activities across Forensicare services
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, seminars and practice development sessions related to EIPSR, psychosocial recovery and the NDIS
  • Provide consultation and secondary support to the Forensicare sites who are navigating complex NDIS cases
  • Supporting the Forensicare workforce to understand psychosocial disability, functional capacity, support needs and recovery oriented practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, senior leaders and external stakeholders
  • Support flexible deployment of EIPSR functions across hospital, prison and community settings based on operational need
  • Liaise with the NDIA and relevant Justice Liaison Officers as required, and coordinate information flow with Forensicare treating teams

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have the following:

  • A background in delivering psychosocial support in a range of community and secure settings including Inpatient units, prisons and community based settings,
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people experiencing severe mental illness, psychosocial disability or complex mental health needs
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS, including access pathways, planning processes and psychosocial disability
  • Experience designing and delivering education, training or workforce development initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration
  • Proficient written communication and report writing capability
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities

It is a requirement of this position to meet all compliance requirements concerning NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, Right to Work and possess a current & valid Victorian Driver’s Licence

What we can offer you

  1. Support as needed utilising our 24/7 Employee Assistance Program
  2. Industry-leading induction and on the job training provided with access to free continuous online learning modules at your own pace
  3. Financial benefits including salary packaging to reduce your taxable income, novated leasing and discounts with a variety of Australian retailers
  4. A supportive team environment that is engaging and inspiring with the same vision and values
  5. Access to Fitness Passport, making it easier to stay active and healthy as we care about your health and wellbeing

Applications close Sunday 20 September 2026.
