About us

At Resilient Life Care, we believe quality support starts with genuine relationships. We provide reliable, person-centred support that helps NDIS participants live independently, achieve their goals and live life on their own terms.

We are a fast-growing NDIS provider operating across Victoria and Queensland, and as our services and workforce continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced HR professional to join our team and help us maintain strong HR, workforce and compliance processes.

About the role

We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused NDIS HR Officer / Administrator to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and ensuring important HR and compliance requirements are consistently met.

You'll support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee records, compliance, training and general HR administration.

A significant part of the role will be ensuring our support workers remain appropriately screened, trained, qualified and compliant with NDIS and organisational requirements.

You'll work closely with our management and operations teams to ensure we have a compliant, capable and well-supported workforce ready to provide high-quality support to our participants.

What you'll be doing

Recruitment & onboarding

  • Assisting with the recruitment of Support Workers and other employees
  • Reviewing applications and conducting initial candidate screening
  • Coordinating interviews and reference checks
  • Preparing employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Coordinating new employee inductions
  • Ensuring all required documentation is completed before employees commence
  • Setting up employee profiles and maintaining accurate HR records

NDIS workforce compliance

  • Managing and monitoring NDIS Worker Screening Checks
  • Monitoring First Aid, CPR and other mandatory qualifications
  • Tracking mandatory NDIS training and following up outstanding requirements
  • Maintaining accurate employee compliance records
  • Monitoring expiry dates and ensuring renewals are completed on time
  • Maintaining complete and audit-ready employee files
  • Identifying compliance gaps and following them through to resolution
  • Assisting with NDIS audits and workforce compliance requirements

HR administration

  • Maintaining employee records and personnel files
  • Managing employment documentation and employee changes
  • Assisting with leave, attendance and employment records
  • Supporting probation and performance review processes
  • Preparing HR letters and employment documentation
  • Assisting with employee queries and general HR matters
  • Maintaining HR policies, procedures and templates
  • Preparing HR and compliance reports for management

Workforce administration

  • Working closely with Operations and Care teams to ensure appropriately qualified staff are available to support participants
  • Supporting staff training and professional development
  • Maintaining accurate workforce information across HR and care management systems
  • Assisting with workforce planning and recruitment
  • Ensuring HR processes remain efficient as the organisation continues to grow across Victoria and Queensland

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confident communicating with employees and management
  • Professional, approachable and able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
  • Strong with administration, documentation and record keeping
  • Confident following up employees when compliance requirements are outstanding
  • Able to identify issues and take initiative to resolve them
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards of HR and NDIS compliance

Experience & qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar HR role
  • Previous experience working within the NDIS or disability sector
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred
  • Strong understanding of NDIS workforce compliance requirements
  • Experience managing employee records, onboarding and compliance documentation
  • Knowledge of Australian employment requirements and the SCHADS Award is highly regarded
  • Experience using HR, workforce management or care management systems
  • Strong computer skills and confidence working across multiple systems

An HR qualification is preferred; however, strong practical HR experience within the NDIS sector will also be highly valued.

What you'll need

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately
  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Current driver's licence is desirable

  • Play an important role in building and maintaining our expanding workforce
  • Work closely with management and have genuine input into our HR processes
  • Opportunity for career development as the organisation continues to grow
  • Be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality NDIS services
  • Free, unlimited and completely confidential access to counsellors through our Employee Assistance Program
