Ndt Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections using ASNT Level II techniques such as UT, MT, RT, DPT, LT, VT, and PT.
• Utilize Eddy current testing (ECT) equipment to inspect weld joints and other areas for signs of wear or damage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to non-destructive testing.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests performed, and results obtained
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols during testing operations.
• Stay updated with industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in NDT
• Apply various levels of NDT methods according to project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Tech/B.E. Bachelor of Technology / Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification in relevant NDT methods.
• 0-2 years of experience in performing NDT inspections in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures.
