NDT Technician

Responsible for conducting non-destructive testing and inspection of materials, equipment, welds, and components without causing damage. Ensures that inspection activities meet applicable quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform NDT inspections using appropriate testing methods such as Visual Testing (VT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Inspect welds, materials, structures, and equipment for cracks, defects, discontinuities, and other irregularities.
• Prepare inspection areas, equipment, and test materials before conducting examinations.
• Operate and maintain NDT instruments and testing equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate test results based on approved procedures, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports, test results, and documentation.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformities to the QA/QC team or assigned supervisor.
• Ensure proper calibration and condition of NDT equipment before use.
• Follow approved inspection procedures, safety requirements, and site regulations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Inspectors, Engineers, welders, and other project personnel during inspection activities.
• Maintain proper records of inspections and ensure confidentiality of technical documents.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Engineering, Engineering Technology, Technical/Vocational course, or related field.
• With relevant experience in NDT inspection/testing, preferably in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• NDT certification such as ASNT, PCN, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable NDT standards, procedures, and safety practices.
• Able to read basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiar with NDT tools, instruments, and inspection documentation.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills.
• Willing to work on-site and under varying work conditions.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
