NEL Rolling Stock (Tech Support) - Snr / Asst Engr

Primary Objectives of Position

• Assist to implement an effective Resource Supportability on NEL in all Rolling Stock sections.

Major Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing QC check, logistic spare support on the newly bought, repaired and defective equipment in Rolling Stock section.
• Perform housekeeping on Rolling Stock equipment movement records for audit / internal requirements
• Implement and maintain an efficient document (including technical drawings) filing system for Rolling Stock
• Maintain proper storage of documents and information

The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide support to Operation during service disruption

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• Diploma/ITC/NTC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering).
• Applicant without the required academic certificate but has at least 5 years of working experience in engineering industry will also be considered.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• Preferably 2 years of working experience in the procurement/ spares management.

Knowledge/Skills

• Possess basic PC knowledge
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Obtained working knowledge of MS project
