NEMT DRIVER

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation services to passengers requiring non-emergency medical travel. This role involves operating passenger vans, navigating local routes, and ensuring passenger comfort and safety throughout each trip. The NEMT Driver plays a vital role in supporting our community by delivering dependable transportation services tailored to our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Chauffeur driving passengers to various destinations while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
• Operating passenger vans safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Managing local driving routes, including planning and following GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
• Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and cleanliness before each shift
• Maintaining accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger details as required
• Communicating effectively with dispatch or coordinators regarding schedule updates or route changes
• Upholding safety standards at all times to protect passengers, staff, and the public

Experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience operating passenger vans or shuttle vehicles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local routes
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse passengers
• Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual service delivery
• Commitment to safety protocols and customer service excellence

Pay: $115.00 - $125.00 per day
