NEMT driver

M Riley Transportation is seeking reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as NEMT Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate facility vehicle and assist residents in and out of the vehicle
• Secure residents’ mobility aids (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs)
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and time
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks (lights, fluids, tires)
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all passengers are secure

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and recordkeeping skills
• 6–12 months experience in a similar transportation role
• Experience in long-term care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus

Pre-Employment & Compliance Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Subject to random drug testing in accordance with company policy

• Must successfully complete all required training modules prior to start date, including:

• Passenger safety and securement training

• HIPAA and confidentiality training

• Defensive driving course

• CPR/First Aid certification (if not already certified)

• Company policies and procedures orientation
