Nephrologist

• Provide consultation and treatment for OPD, IPD, ICU, and emergency nephrology cases.
• Diagnose and manage AKI, CKD, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, nephrotic/nephritic conditions, and other renal diseases.
• Assess and manage patients requiring dialysis and renal replacement therapy.
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance for dialysis-related patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians, intensivists, surgeons, RMO, nursing staff, and other departments for effective patient management.
• Review investigations and formulate appropriate treatment and follow-up plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, consultation notes, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection-control practices, patient-safety protocols, and NABH standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME programmes, staff training, and quality-improvement activities.
• Educate patients and relatives regarding treatment, dialysis, medication, diet, and follow-up care.
• Support the hospital in developing and strengthening Nephrology & Dialysis services.
• Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and effective coordination with hospital staff.
