Nephrologist

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and empathetic Nephrologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to kidney health and function. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Settings include clinics, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospital (once the credentialing process is completed).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nephrology evaluations, including patient interviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injuries, and other nephropathies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle adjustments, and dialysis recommendations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in nephrology and integrate them into patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.
• Work alongside and provide guidance to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the practice.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
• Valid and active medical license in Florida.
• Strong clinical skills in nephrology assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and understanding for patients with chronic kidney conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $270,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
