𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Nephrology Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced nephrologists to serve as Nephrology Advisors. This opportunity is ideal for physicians with expertise in chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplantation, electrolyte disorders, glomerular diseases, value-based kidney care, digital health, healthcare AI, remote patient monitoring, and preventive medicine.

As a Nephrology Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to support the development and growth of Fruit Street Health's virtual care platform and chronic disease management programs. Your expertise will help ensure that kidney health solutions are clinically effective, evidence-based, patient-centered, and aligned with best practices in nephrology. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for physicians who are passionate about advancing kidney care through innovation and technology.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on virtual care programs related to chronic kidney disease, hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation, nutrition, remote patient monitoring, healthcare AI, and preventive nephrology.
• Advise Fruit Street Health on clinical workflows, physician adoption, patient engagement strategies, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based kidney disease management.
• Offer expertise on kidney disease prevention, risk factor modification, nutrition, digital therapeutics, remote monitoring technologies, and integration with primary care and specialty care.
• Share industry insights and recommendations regarding nephrology practice, healthcare technology, reimbursement models, value-based care, and emerging innovations in kidney health.
• Participate in periodic advisory meetings and provide practical recommendations based on your clinical and operational experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing nephrology.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Nephrology preferred.
• Experience managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, kidney transplantation, diabetic kidney disease, remote patient monitoring, telemedicine, digital health, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation preferred.
• Strong understanding of nephrology clinical workflows, multidisciplinary care coordination, patient engagement, and value-based care models.
• Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.
