Nephrology - Associate Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases.

• Evaluate patients with renal disorders, electrolyte imbalances, and hypertension.

• Manage patients requiring hemodialysis and other renal replacement therapies.

• Monitor dialysis patients and coordinate with dialysis technicians and nursing staff.

• Perform and interpret relevant renal investigations and diagnostic tests.

• Manage critical renal cases, including acute kidney injury and fluid/electrolyte disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

  • Coordinate with other specialties for comprehensive patient care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per hospital and NABH standards.

• Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualification Experience:

• MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine and DM/DNB/Fellowship in Nephrology from a recognized institution.

• Relevant experience in Nephrology preferred.
