Nesting Engineer

• Strong understanding of fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of structural steel, plate fabrication, piping, and sheet metal.
• Expertise in nesting software (SigmaNEST, Pronest, Lantek, AutoNest, Most 2D, etc.).
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and BOMs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with production planning and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fabrication, steel structures, heavy engineering, or sheet metal manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC laser, plasma, or oxy-fuel cutting operations.
• Hands-on experience in production planning, nesting, and raw material planning.
