Nesting Engineer

Position: Nesting Engineer – PEB

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare nesting layouts for PEB structural steel fabrication and CNC/Plasma cutting.

• Optimize plate and sheet utilization to minimize material wastage.

• Prepare cutting files/programs based on approved fabrication drawings.

• Read and understand PEB/shop drawings, GA drawings and fabrication drawings.

• Coordinate with the Design, Production and CNC/Plasma Machine teams.

• Verify material grade, thickness, dimensions, quantities and cutting requirements.

• Ensure accurate nesting and timely release of cutting programs.

• Maintain records of material consumption and nesting details.

Requirements:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Production or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in PEB/structural steel fabrication nesting preferred.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant nesting software.

• Experience with CNC/Plasma cutting will be an added advantage.

• Good understanding of PEB components and structural steel fabrication.

• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, based on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
