Duties

• Lead the architectural design of distributed systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop comprehensive system architecture plans using UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams to visualize component interactions and workflows.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services utilizing ASP.NET Core, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and SOAP protocols for seamless application integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and create detailed solution blueprints.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices by automating deployment pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development including design patterns, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), version control, and Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure deployment on platforms such as AWS or Azure, utilizing services like S3, Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, and Kubernetes for scalable system hosting.
• Promote the use of modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember.js, Ext JS, Bootstrap, Backbone.js, and CSS for engaging user interfaces.
• Implement enterprise solutions by integrating diverse data sources including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB (NoSQL), Salesforce APIs, and PL/SQL scripts.
• Lead application architecture design for microservices architectures using JavaScript frameworks like Node.js or React Express while ensuring high availability through load balancing and distributed computing strategies.

Experience

• Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems with a strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with.NET technologies (.NET Framework & ASP.NET Core), C#, and Visual Studio development environment.
• Deep knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure including cloud architecture design and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, system design for complex enterprise applications, and implementation of APIs using RESTful standards.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB alongside traditional RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle; experience with Hibernate or Entity Framework is a plus.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban; familiarity with DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Git/SVN for version control and release management.
• Knowledge of security protocols including HTTPS, identity & access management (IAM), Burp Suite testing tools for vulnerability assessments is desirable.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through UML diagrams and documentation; experience with system design patterns is preferred.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
