Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance applications for our enterprise products. The role involves hands-on development, API integration, database optimisation, troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop RESTful APIs, web services and integrations with internal and external applications.
• Build scalable, secure and maintainable application components using established coding standards.
• Work with SQL Server, including database design, query optimisation, stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Implement authentication, authorisation and application security best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, DevOps and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Integrate third-party applications, APIs and enterprise systems as required.
• Support application deployment, production releases and post-deployment issue resolution.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments to streamline development and deployment.
• Contribute to technical documentation, application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve development productivity.

Technical Skills

Core Development

• C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+
• ASP.NET Core, MVC and Web API
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and design patterns
• Entity Framework Core / LINQ
• Asynchronous programming and exception handling

Database & Integration

• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing and query optimisation
• REST APIs, JSON and third-party integrations
• Authentication and authorisation mechanisms

Tools & Deployment

• Git / Azure DevOps
• CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment processes
• Microsoft Azure exposure will be an advantage
• Unit testing frameworks and debugging tools

Additional Advantage

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with AI APIs, Generative AI or intelligent automation.
• Experience developing enterprise SaaS products or customer-facing applications.
