.Net Developer (Adelaide)

About the Role

We are looking for two motivated .NET Developers to join our small, fast-paced development team. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our software products, helping us deliver reliable, scalable solutions and continuously improve the user experience.

Our technology stack includes C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor, JavaScript, LINQ, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and SQL stored procedures. Our applications and databases operate in cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will also work on integrating our systems with third-party services and APIs.

This is an opportunity to become a key contributor to our growing products and team while helping improve our development practices and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the iterative development and continuous improvement of our software products.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor, and JavaScript.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, including relational database design and performance optimisation.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and Windows Services.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing applications and workflows.
• Troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver new features and improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core MVC with Razor.
• Good working knowledge of LINQ and relational databases.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures using T-SQL.
• Understanding of relational database design and data relationships.
• Experience with JavaScript and AJAX concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing accurate, maintainable code.

Experience & Education

• At least one year of industry experience in software development or a relevant field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL.
• Experience developing and maintaining Windows Services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Understanding of database performance tuning and query optimisation.

Work Location

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be available to work on-site at our Adelaide CBD office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
