Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer / Senior .NET Developer to join the National Genome Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise-level software applications and backend services.

The role focuses on developing scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, web applications, database solutions, and enterprise integrations using modern Microsoft technologies and software architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET / ASP.NET Core.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Build web applications using Blazor and ASP.NET MVC.

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable software architectures.

• Apply software architecture principles such as Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Develop and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs and enterprise integration services.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices.

• Collaborate with software developers, system analysts, database specialists, and other technical teams.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

• Ensure the developed solutions meet project requirements, security standards, scalability requirements, and performance expectations.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development.

• Experience with Blazor and/or ASP.NET MVC.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.

• Experience with software architecture and design patterns.

• Good understanding of Clean Architecture.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Experience with enterprise application development and system integration.

• Familiarity with Git and source control systems.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant professional experience in .NET software development.

• Experience in developing enterprise-level applications is preferred.

• Senior-level candidates should demonstrate strong experience in software architecture, system design, and technical problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on healthcare, genomics, government, or large-scale enterprise projects.

• Experience with cloud technologies and enterprise integrations.

• Knowledge of secure software development practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Position Level

The position may be offered as:

• .NET Developer – for candidates with relevant hands-on development experience.

• Senior .NET Developer – for experienced candidates with strong expertise in architecture, system design, and enterprise application development.

Pay: BD3,000.000 - BD6,000.000 per month
