Role Title: Applications Engineer (.NET)

Project Assignment Location: Robinsons Cybergate, Mandaluyong City (near Boni MRT station)

Main office: Dela Rosa, Makati City

Hybrid (2 days per week onsite), Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Summary

The Application Engineer (Software Engineer) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to support business operations and strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements, create technical solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The Application Engineer ensures that applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and implement software applications according to business requirements.
• Maintain and improve existing applications by debugging, refactoring, and optimizing performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

System Analysis & Design

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design application architecture, database structures, and system integration strategies.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test cases to ensure application functionality and reliability.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Work with QA teams to resolve defects and improve software quality.

Deployment & Support

• Prepare and deploy applications to production environments following deployment protocols.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations of applications.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for security and data protection.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development guidelines.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and IT support teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance software

development practices.

• Participate in training and mentorship programs to upskill junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development using.NET programming language
• Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience

· Typically requires 1 to 3+ years of experience in software development.

· Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

· Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Pay: Up to Php45,000.00 per month
