.NET Developer (Umbraco Certified)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled . NET Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience and Umbraco CMS expertise to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable web applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and developing, customizing, and maintaining websites and digital solutions using Umbraco CMS.

Umbraco certification is strongly preferred, along with practical experience in CMS development, API integrations, database management, and AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and the .NET framework.
• Build, customize, and manage websites and digital platforms using Umbraco CMS.
• Develop and maintain Umbraco templates, document types, content models, custom properties, and backoffice extensions.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for database design, queries, and data management.
• Customize Umbraco functionality based on business and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and CMS-related issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and software development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in .NET application development.

• Umbraco CMS certification or equivalent demonstrated Umbraco development expertise.

• Strong proficiency in:

• C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core

• Umbraco CMS development and customization

• MVC architecture and object-oriented programming

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design

• SQL Server and Entity Framework Core

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of Umbraco document types, content models, templates, backoffice configuration, and content management workflows.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Official Umbraco certification, with the certification level or relevant training clearly stated.
• Experience upgrading or migrating Umbraco websites between major versions.
• Knowledge of Umbraco integrations, packages, custom extensions, and headless CMS capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, React.js, or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, or distributed application architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
