Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and Python to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality web applications through scalable and reliable test automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Maintain test data and ensure test environment stability
• Continuously improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
• Good understanding of software testing concepts (STLC, test design techniques)
• Experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks
• Knowledge of API testing (REST, tools like Postman or requests library)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Good knowledge with MCP Server, AI, Codegen, Agent Creation.
• Good have good Exp with Migration
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with debugging and analyzing test failures
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in test automation (adjust based on level)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2–6 years of experience in .NET development
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Behave, Cucumber)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing environments
• Familiarity with performance testing tools
• Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript (useful for Playwright ecosystem)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
