.NET Software Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services.
• Work with SQL Server, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Identify and resolve application issues and production bugs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services where required.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers.
• Maintain technical documentation related to applications and development processes.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies and development practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• 24 years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC / Web API.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic front-end concepts.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
• Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Angular / React.
• Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Dev Ops practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of micro-services architecture.
