Whom are we looking for

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to own the technical direction and delivery of a software product developed by three engineering teams.

You will directly manage two teams and will be the product’s primary technical authority, responsible for architecture, engineering standards, cross-team coordination, and technical delivery.

The role requires strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and the ability to guide teams in both architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Own the product’s end-to-end technical direction and solution architecture.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and major technical decisions.
  • Guide teams on .NET architecture, application design, APIs, integration, testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Establish and maintain common engineering standards across all teams.
  • Balance feature delivery, technical debt, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Stay close enough to the codebase to provide practical technical guidance and challenge implementation decisions.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership to all three teams involved in the project.
  • Establish clear ownership across teams and system components.
  • Mentor Tech Leads and Senior Engineers.
  • Support teams in resolving complex technical issues and dependencies.
  • Enable teams to work autonomously within a consistent architectural and engineering framework.

Cross-Team Delivery

  • Coordinate technical dependencies, integrations, shared components, and releases.
  • Ensure teams work as one engineering organization across company boundaries.
  • Provide technical input into planning, estimation, prioritization, and sequencing.
  • Identify and resolve technical risks and delivery blockers.
  • Promote consistent practices for coding, code review, testing, CI/CD, documentation, observability, and quality.

Customer & Vendor Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical counterpart for the customer.
  • Represent the engineering teams in architecture, design, and technical planning discussions.
  • Explain technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
  • Provide technical direction and governance to the vendor team.
  • Ensure vendor contributions align with the product architecture and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing and delivering production software systems.
  • Experience as a Technical Lead, Principal/Staff Engineer, Engineering Manager, Solution Architect, or similar role.
  • Strong professional experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
  • Proven experience owning architecture and technical direction for a software product or platform.
  • Experience leading multiple engineering teams or teams working on a shared codebase.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices, including source control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and production support.
  • Ability to provide both strategic architectural guidance and practical implementation-level direction.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors.
