Job Title: NetApp/Isilon Migration Expert

Location: Remote (US) – occasional travel to San Jose, CA

Full-time permanent role

Role Overview:

We are seeking a consultant to lead the migration of data from Isilon storage to NetApp, ensuring reliability and stability in ONTAP environments. The role requires strong expertise in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) practices, deep ONTAP knowledge, and hands‑on migration and automation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and develop migration plans for Isilon infrastructure to NetApp

Support storage requirements and optimize ONTAP environments

Execute diagnostics, configuration, and testing of ONTAP systems

Troubleshoot failover events and resolve issues proactively

Implement automation using Python/Ansible

Collaborate with technical teams and transfer knowledge to internal staff

Required Skills:

Experience with EDA customers

NetApp to Isilon migration expertise

Strong ONTAP knowledge

Automation skills (Python, Ansible)

Diagnostic/debugging capabilities

Clear technical communication and ability to work independently

Cloud exposure (AWS/GCP) preferred

Familiarity with NTAP tools and autosupport diagnostics
