Netbackup Administrator

Roles and Responsibility

• Design, implement, and manage network backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Configure and troubleshoot backup servers, storage devices, and backup software.
• Develop and maintain documentation of backup procedures and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to backups.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for data management and security.
• Perform regular testing and evaluation of backup systems to ensure they meet business requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in netbackup administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of backup technologies, including backup software, storage devices, and server operating systems.
• Experience with cloud-based backup services and disaster recovery planning is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
