Network Administrator

Experience - 1 to 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
• Monitor network performance and ensure uptime, stability, and reliability.
• Configure and manage LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to users.
• Handle IT inventory management, including tracking, allocation, and maintenance of hardware and equipment.
• Perform system setup and configuration for new joiners, including laptops/desktops, software, email, network access, and required peripherals.
• Implement and monitor network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and threat monitoring.
• Maintain IT/network documentation and performance/security reports.
• Collaborate with IT teams on network solutions, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software.

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience in IT inventory management and system setup/support.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new technologies.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Information Technology, Hardware & Networking, or a related field.
