Network Administrator

About the role

E.C. Fix Technology Limited is seeking a Network Administrator to join our growing technology team on a full-time basis. Based in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District, this role is critical to maintaining and optimising our network infrastructure. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring and support of our computer networks and systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational efficiency across the organisation. This position plays a vital role in supporting our business continuity and enabling our teams to work effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and maintaining network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls and servers
• Monitoring network performance and utilisation to identify and resolve bottlenecks and connectivity issues
• Managing user access, permissions and security protocols across the network infrastructure
• Performing routine network maintenance, updates and patches to ensure system stability and security
• Troubleshooting network-related problems and providing technical support to end users
• Implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect against unauthorised access and threats
• Documenting network configurations, procedures and changes for continuity and compliance purposes
• Collaborating with IT team members to plan and execute network upgrades and system improvements
• Monitoring backup systems and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
• Maintaining accurate records of network assets, licenses and inventory

What we're looking for

• CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent professional qualification in networking
• 3+ years of practical experience in network administration or systems administration
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP and network troubleshooting
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis software
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls and VPN solutions
• Understanding of network security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication abilities and customer service orientation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent network issues
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified Associate (MCA) or Cisco certification credentials
• Preferred: Experience with cloud networking services and virtualisation technologies
