PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain all Windows Server operating systems and services.

• Linux CLI experience is helpful.
• Provide support for all desktop and laptop workstations.
• Maintain, monitor and proactively respond to system issues to maximize overall system SLA’s.
• Perform daily and weekly checklists to document system conformance.
• Maintain and secure all network devices including firewalls, switches, etc;
• VMware and Proxmox administration experience is helpful.
• Monitor, manage, and ensure reliability of all server system backups.
• Manage tape backup inventory.
• Keep all servers and workstation updated to current patches and releases, which can involve occasional Saturday evening time during our maintenance window.
• Assist in maintaining network switches and cabling.
• Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related programming practices, system software, and computer equipment to provide required analysis of business and/or scientific problems.
• Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· BS/BA college degree a plus (A technical background such as CSCI is preferred).

· 3-4 years of IT Technical Management experience preferred.

· Technical certifications such as CompTIA are a plus.

· Experience with C# Asp.Net a plus

· Someone that takes the initiative to learn is very important.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
